D.A. Day Inc. Fine Cabinetmakers

THE PROCESS

First we decide WHAT it is that you would like, and WHERE it is to go.

Then we decide whether or not we have enough information to go on from there.

That’s when we decide WHO we need on the team. I work very well with architects, builders, designers, and if you don’t have one, I have a number of them that I can recommend to you who may be a good fit for the project. If you have any of these team members already, I can’t wait to meet them!

If you have ideas, pictures, magazine pages, thumbnail drawings on paper bags and don’t feel we need a designer, as is often the case, we will gladly work with you to define your ideas with a few of our own.

Then we decide HOW MUCH. This is important to everyone out there. We have worked with multi-millionaires and everyday blue-collar folks and everything in between, and we have NEVER encountered one client who isn’t concerned with price. Most are pleasantly surprised with the estimate and our record of about 90% success rate on being awarded a project should say that our prices are very fair.

Success of the overall project ALWAYS runs 100%. Prices seldom change from estimate to completion unless radical changes are made to the plan. Bidding a job low, and then billing out everything as an “extra” is sort of the old “bait and switch” tactic, which we do not engage in at D.a.Day Inc.

Next, we decide WHEN the project is to be completed and how it arrives to the job site. We pride ourselves not only on quality, but on keeping the promise of delivering on time. Your project has time constraints and may involve, electricians, plumbers, painters and stone counter folks, etc. who have their own time constraints.

Late cabinetry is never appreciated! If you/we are creating a smaller piece, or something that is free-standing without installation involved, this process may be much more simple than that which I’ve just described. We can have your project delivered or you (or your builder) can come down and collect it. We never charge for the time it takes to load and pack your project with care to make its destination.
